The corpus comprises of recordings and transcripts of modern Hebrew conversations. It purpose is to provide a basis for research on the Hebrew language in the domains of spoken discourse and interaction, as well as in all other areas of linguistic analysis.
The project is headed by Dr. Michal Marmorstein.

Nadav Matalon is a PhD student in the department of Linguistics and a fellow in the Mandel School PHD Honors Programm. His research focuses on ‘Prosody’- the musical aspect of spoken language. Aside from his PhD studies, Nadav is a memver of an inter-disciplinary research group in the Weitzman Institute of Science for the study of Prosody. He completed his BA at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and an MA in Linguistics at the Hebrew University.
Amir Efrati is an MA student at the department of Linguistics. His interests include interactional linguistics and processes of language acquisition. In addition to his studies Amir teaches English at a high school.
Itamar Folman is an MA student at the department of Linguistics and a graduate of the departments of Linguistics and Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies at the Hebrew University.
Enmar Shaked is a BA student in the departments of Linguistics and Computer Science at the Hebrew University. She is interested in interactional linguistics and in applying computational methods in this field. Enmar developed the ‘Hebrew Corpus’ website and is responsible for its maintenance.
