As of 2019, The Center for Advanced Study and Training in Digital Humanities hosts the annual winter school for Digital Humanities, which takes place at the Mandel School on the Mount Scopus campus. The winter school provides students from all Israeli universities and all departments and disciplines of the humanities a critical conceptual introduction to digital humanities, together with a basic instruction in a number of tools for computational analysis of texts. Every year the winter school focuses on a different theme in order to combine practical workshops with theoretical lectures. Thus, the winter school exposes Israeli research students to the growing field of digital humanities and provides its participants with basic tools and knowledge to join the new academic field.
