I recently completed my PhD in Syriac philology and manuscript studies, my research focused primarily on computational and historical approaches to modeling and analyzing premodern Syriac codices.
In addition, I have worked as a software developer and computational research consultant for multiple DH projects, including: developing Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR) and segmentation models using Kraken/eScriptorium for Hebrew and Persian documents; database design and management relying on the PHP-based Omeka S platform; developing a TEI digital edition for a biblical critical edition; NLP analysis of modern sci-fi literature.
